Welcome to the ligita 2009!
The 17th Liechtenstein Guitar days will be hold from the 4th to the 11th July 2009.
We are looking forward to present you an exciting program of concerts, courses and the 5th International Guitar Competition!
There will come:
Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Alvaro Pierri, Paul O Dette, Jorge Cardoso, Dale Kavanagh, Atanas Ourkouzounov (with Mie Ogura, Flute) Carlo Domeniconi (with Matias De Oliveira Pinto, Cello), Jürgen Hübscher & LA VOLTA, Dieter Kreidler, Stefan Hackl, Michael Buchrainer and Mariano Martin con La Lupi y su grupo flamenco.
From now on you can inscribe for the courses, workshops and the International Guitar Competition!
We look forward to the summer of 2009 and on the 17th ligita!
The ligita is promoted by the Kulturstiftung Liechtenstein and the municipalities of the Liechtensteiner Unterland Eschen, Mauren, Gamprin, Ruggell and Schellenberg.
5th INTERNATIONAL ligita GUITAR COMPETITION
Only active participants are eligible.
Participant turnout is limited!
Competition regulations
1st Round: 07.07.2009
Programme of free choice that includes works from 2 epochs; total playing time at least 10 to a maximum of 12 minutes
2nd Round: 09.07.2009
Programme of free choice that includes works from 2 epochs including a piece by Leo Brouwer; total playing at least 18 to a maximum of 20 minutes.
Final Round: 11.07.2009
Programme of free choice that includes works from 2 epochs including a Etude by Heitor Villa-Lobos; total playing at least 28 to a maximum of 30 minutes.
All pieces must be played by memory. No piece already played in an earlier round may be repeated. The sheet music of played pieces has to be submitted to the jury. Judgement is based on programme, interpretation, style, technique ans stage presence.
The jury's decisions are final and not contestable.

The jury concists of well reputed personalities of the international music scene.
