Carlos Bonell will give a recital for the Festival on 29th July
Carlos will be directing a guitar week between 25th and 31st July at this prestigious Festival. Students of all ages and abilities are invited to the guitar course directed by Carlos in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.
Gubbio is one of the most ancient towns of Umbria dating back to the pre-Roman era. Among its attractions are a Roman theatre and a medieval town centre.
The Summer Music Festival features courses for various instruments and evening concerts by leading international artists, with free admission to course students.
A wide range of hotel accommodation is available including special rates for course students.
By car Gubbio is approached from the North highway A1 Del Sole, exiting at Arezzo. Nearest airports to Gubbio are Perugia, Pisa and Rome, with direct coach services from Perugia and Rome to Gubbio. Nearest train station to Gubbio is Fossato di Vico connected to Gubbio by bus service or Perugia Fontivegge also connected by bus service.
