45th International guitar competition "M.Pittaluga"-Alessandria, 24-29 September 2012
In Alessandria-Italy, late September, will be held the 45th guitar competition , one of the most important international contest devoted to the guitar.
The Artistic director, after Alirio Diaz, is Marco Tamayo now .

The Finals this year are with String quartet. The cashprize amount is more than 30000 euros, plus the Naxos recording for the winner, and an extensive concert tour in Italy and abroad.
