Carlos Bonell will be directing his first guitar workshop in the beautiful location of Cubertou between Thursday 5th - Wednesday 11th August 2010. Students of all levels and abilities are invited. During the workshop there will be solo tuition, ensemble workshops, and technique sessions. Accommodation can be on a shared or single basis. All accommodation at Cubertou is arranged around a peaceful courtyard. Non playing partners are encouraged at a reduced rate. The cuisine is of Michelin star standard provided by resident chef, Erik Michel.
By car it is an easy route from the north on the peage exiting at Cahors. Nearest airport is Bergerac. Situated in historic South West France and conveniently set within twenty-five tranquil, wooded acres, Cubertou is close to much Romanesque art and architecture. Cubertou is within accessible distance to various famous prehistoric painted caves. Nearby is the historic town of Cahors, the departmental capital. Also within easy reach of Cubertou are colourful local markets.
