Entre el 27 y el 29 de este mes tendrá lugar en la ciudad austríaca de Bregenz, a orillas del Lago Constanza, el 2nd Lake Konstanz Guitar Research Meeting. Su lema será "Bridges" (Puentes) y su objetivo el de reunir a las personas que desarrollen o hayan desarrollado actividades en el campo de la investigación y/o de la edición de música para guitarra, así como el de tratar asuntos de interés colectivo relacionados con el propio mundo guitarrístico, sus compositores, su música y sus constructores.
El encuentro se llevará a cabo en el hotel Germania de Bregenz y comenzará el viernes 27 a las 20:15 con el concierto ofrecido por el cuarteto de guitarras Neues Münchner Gitarrenensemble. Este concierto tendrá lugar en la Vorarlberger Landesbibliothek (Fluherstrasse 4 - 6900 Bregenz) y en él se ofrecerá el estreno mundial del Cuarteto en sol menor de Ferdinad Rebay (1880-1953) compuesto en 1925.
